Divas Inc Online- Weza Solange Uncovered

I was approached by Divas Inc Online to do a cover with them and knowing their online magazine so well I said YES! I love all that they stand for, and I'm amazed by how fast this online mag is growing. Anyway I've never shared so much in an interview like I did on this one, hence the title "Weza Solange uncovered". I remember Jo having a little tape recorder and us just having a loooong conversation. Those who know me, know that I CAN TALK, for dayzzzzz, hahah. So I just went on and on, and the thing about me is that my mind is always racing, and I'm always thinking 10 things at once, so while talking I'd jump from one topic to the other and poor JO had to keep up with that, Lol.

You will see on the interview that she just decided to write all I said, otherwise editing that would be a nightmare.
I'm sure that if there was ever anything you needed to know about me, you will find the answer in this interview!

Let's start at the beginning. Can you tell me a little bit about your childhood and life for Weza growing up?

I won't say I had a normal up bringing - it was pretty rough in some respects. I was born in Portugal which is something a lot of people don't know. The medical hospitals in Angola were just horrible and my Mom had twins 1st before she had me . Sadly they died at birth because she has high blood pressure and they couldn't take care of her whilst she was pregnant so the doctors advised that every child should be born outside the country. We are a Portuguese speaking family and so Portugal was a natural choice. Growing up , my Dad was the Commander of Police in Angola and this was during the time of war - literally during the time where houses were being bombed and exploding on a daily basis and you couldn't walk down the street safely so what he decided to do was to send his family to live in Portugal because he felt we'd be safer there.

Gracing the cover - Shimmer Motions Magazine

I graced the cover of the Sep-Oct issue of Shimmer Motions magazine alongside:Pearl, Sinazo, and Mbali!
It was such fun doing this cover, I think not so much fun for the stylists and photographer cause we were such a handful! Haha

Having so many Divas in one place can get too much at times, but we were super cool and professional and had a total Blast.Thank You to the team for making us look SO Gorgeous, I think this is one of my best covers to date...

PRESS RELEASE : Mzansi Magic’s first telenovela, iNKABA captures AfricaMagic

Mzansi Magic is excited to announce that the channel’s first telenovela, Inkaba is now available to audiences in Sub-Saharan Africa. This includes countries such as Angola, Botswana, Congo, (Democratic Republic of Congo), Nigeria, Mozambique, Uganda, to name a few.

Since launching on 19 March, Mondays to Thursdays at 20:30 on Mzansi Magic – Channel 107, Inkaba has captured the attention of South African audiences and extended its reach to AfricaMagic Entertainment on Monday, 16 April 2012. The show will run until next year April, with a broadcast on Mondays – Thursday at 22:00 CAT.
According to Lebone Maema, Channel Head: Mzansi Magic, Inkaba is the biggest venture the channel has undertaken to date. “In less than two years, Mzansi Magic has embarked on several exciting projects, but nothing matches Inkaba. We are extremely proud of our groundbreaking proudly South African telenovela. It’s a story with depth, exploring our heritage, customs, vernacular and current life challenges in an unprecedented, highly entertaining way.”
“Inkaba has secured a substantial audience since its launch. This not only shows that people are interested on our offering but they are interested in the story we are telling, the fashion and our interesting characters” says, Lebone Maema, Head of Channel at Mzansi Magic.

Inkaba has set a platform for conversation on social media networks and continues to encourage discussion about the current trends.
Given Inkaba’s relevant characters such as Pascal (Richard Lukunku) and Fumi (Weza Solange), the show’s pan African appeal thus result in the audience demand, especially in Angola and Nigeria.

Viewers in the rest of Africa can catch the drama and intrigue of the glamorous South African fashion industry at the click of a button.

3 Talk WITH NOLEEN

There are a FEW people in this industry I've always wanted to meet, be in their presence, pick at their brain, just because I admire who they are and what they stand for. Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu is definitely one of these people. I always felt that she was one of the few people who "kept it real", and said it like it is, but in a very elegant, tasteful manner. I Love 3 Talk, besides Oprah and Ellen it's the only talkshow i actually watch, and to say the truth it's the ONLY reason I EVER tune into SABC3. So when I was invited to be one of the guests on 3 Talk you can imagine how exited I was. Not only was I gonna meet Noeleen but i was gonna be in her show!!! I was ecstatic!! The show was great, we had so many laughts, I was surprisingly relaxed, and having Khabonina there was the cherry on top, she's a beautiful being, super funny and comfortable in her own still. I look at her and think, she should've been Angolan!!!

Vuzu: Inkaba Red Carpet

Just Curious : Spotted Inkaba

MNET went all out last week when they launched their new kid on the block, a Telenovela called Inkaba. It was red carpet all the way at the Urban Brew Studios you’d swear we were at the Oscars or an Awards ceremony. Phathu was my date and he dumped me the second we arrived and went to spend time with his colleagues which by the way were/are the big shots in the TV industry. So nje poor Kiki was not that important. Lol

The Longines Conquest V.H.P. is the newest version of a watch Longines introduced in 1984 which was in turn the product of many replica watches decades of Longines technical innovations in quartz-powered timing, of which many watch aficionados may be unaware. That first breitling replica quartz clock, which would go on to claim numerous subsequent precision records at the Neuchatel Observatory after its debut there in 1954, was integrated into a famous replica watches uk sports-timing instrument, the Chronocinegines. This device - which provided racing judges with a film strip composed of a series of pictures recorded at 1/100th second, allowing replica rolex them to precisely record the moment an athlete crossed a finish line- represented a milestone in timekeeping history.
