Most people there can't speak English,so i figured it's about time i catered for my people too. I will be posting tips, news etc in Portuguese.

SOUL MAGAZINE (cover)
I was asked to grace the Cover of Soul Mag with Dumisani Mbebe, my co - star on Inkaba. I felt really blessed to do this Cover especially when I was told that I'm the first non South African to be on the cover of Soul Mag. I remember the day this cover was shot because I was as sick as a dog. I had a really bad flu, high fever, i couldn't stop coughing and sneezing. Let me just say it wasn't my best day. Thank God I had an amazing team with me. I want to thank them for having been so sweet and caring for me, especially Dumisani. I couldn't have shared this cover with a better person. As for the article... you will have to buy the magazine and tell me what you think! :-)

Zazi,Zithande, Zithembe
When my good friend Thandy Matlaila from Aptitude PR asked me if I could model for the Zazi,Zithande,Zithembe launch, I immediately said yes. By now you should know that i always try to be a part of anything that has to do with the empowerment of women. It was a beautiful event, hosted at the Balalaika Hotel. I really have to congratulate The founders of "ZZZ''- Salamina Mosese and Lusanda Mbane for such a beautiful initiative. The theme of the event was "Champagne and Diamonds", and everything was on point, from the Motivational speakers (Timothy Maurice Webster, Faith Mangope and Jolene Martin) to the renowned designers Designers( Rubicon, Reggie Stone and Thula Sindi) to the entertainment by Ayanda, Vicus Music and Boichoko Qwabe . I got to meet a lot of great ladies, who also donated their time for this beautiful event and of course had a blast modelling in all those beautiful designs.

Divas Inc Online- Weza Solange Uncovered
Weza Solange Uncovered
I was approached by Divas Inc Online to do a cover with them and knowing their online magazine so well I said YES! I love all that they stand for. Divas Inc is an online magazine targeting the young African woman. I'm amazed by how fast this online mag is growing. I've never shared so much in an interview like I did on this one, hence the title "Weza Solange uncovered". I remember Jo ( the Co - founder and Editor of Divas Inc) having a little tape recorder and us just having a loooong conversation. Those who know me well, know that I CAN TALK, for dayzzzzz, hahah. So I just went on and on. The one thing about me is that my mind is always racing, and I'm always thinking 10 things at once. So while talking I'd jump from one topic to the other and poor Jo had to keep up with that, Lol.
You will see on the interview that she just decided to write all I said, which is great because you get the best of me. Otherwise editing that would be a nightmare.I'm sure that if there was ever anything you needed to know about me, you will find all the answers in this interview!
Can you tell me a little bit about your childhood and life for Weza growing up?
I won't say I had a normal up bringing. It was pretty rough in some respects. I was born in Portugal which is something a lot of people don't know. The medical hospitals in Angola were just horrible and my Mom had twins 1st before she had me. Sadly they died at birth because she has high blood pressure and they couldn't take care of her whilst she was pregnant. The doctors advised that every child should be born outside the country. We are a Portuguese speaking family and so Portugal was a natural choice for us. Growing up , my Dad was the Commander of Police in Angola and this was during the time of war , literally . During the time where houses were being bombed and exploding on a daily basis and you couldn't walk down the street safely so what he decided to do was to send his family to live in Portugal because he felt we'd be safer there.
