MZANSI MAGIC "Isibaya" LAUNCH

As you know Inkaba is coming to an end. It was truly a remarkable journey for me and i am a bit sad it's over while in the same breath i am happy that opportunities are limitless from now on.

Mzansi Magic has decided to give us another dose of Drama and get us hooked on our screens by producing another Telenovela. As a Mzansi Magic fan i was excited to be part of their "Isibaya" Launch. Isibaya is the new Telenovela that will be gracing our screens on DStv very soon. With an amazing cast of renowned actors and actresses such as Siyabonga Twala famous for his roles in Soaps such as Scandal as well as his character as "Paul Mashaba" in Generations and the likes of Thembi Nyandeni famous for her role as "Selina" in Zone 14 , and Mampho Brescia from Jacob's Cross.

The launch was nothing i have ever seen before, apart from the speeches, the photographers, the company and the great food, the Isibaya Launch gave us a unique tour of the Soap's cast in action. I swear it was like being literally in the Soap itself. The aggressiveness of the taxi drivers , the rural housewives, to the ambiance of the traditions that this Zulu family in Isibaya is trying to uphold. WOW!! 

The venue could not have been more spectacular.The Launch was hosted in Protea Glen, Soweto. We were given a personalized tour of the late taxi owner Godfrey Moloi's house which is where Isibaya will be shot for the next 8 months. You just have to catch Isibaya when it goes live on air to see how exquisite the decor in that house is. We were all in awe and Bomb Shelter went all out for this. My personal favourite was the decor on the couches around the venue were the celebs, Media and all guests were hosted for the night. They had these Mzansi Magic branded scatter cushions in Black and Gold. 

Isibaya is produced by Bomb Shelter Productions. Congratulations guys!!!!

I can't give away much about what will be happening in Isibaya. Isibaya will be on our TV screens on the 18th of March 2013 on Mzansi Magic at 20.30 .

HAPPY MAMA AFRIKA DAY

Mama Miriam Makeba was one of the most exceptional and brilliant women Africa was blessed to have known .One cannot talk about Music in Africa and not think about her.

With the help of one of my friends , she helped me select her favourite song of Mama's. I hope it brings back good memories. Get dancing if you can..

FACE YOUR FEARS (change your ATTITUDE)

We have this thing in Angola(where I'm from) where it doesn't matter what month it is, if you are seeing someone for the first time that year you always say HAPPY NEW YEAR... It's think it's a nice gesture. I know its been a while since I last posted. I also know that we are well into February but I think I can still say... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Now let me get back on track.I chose to allow myself sometime to breathe and look into what each challenge of 2012 meant as well as appreciate my achievements. I  needed to take a step back, regroup, and plan ahead. I was feeling a little uninspired.

Well, after a LOT of PRAYER and self reflection I finally came to the realization that there is no one but ME holding me back and that this year I am going to CHANGE MY ATTITUDE.I know that this is starting to sound like a page from a self help book, but the truth is, if you are not happy with any area of your life, then GET OFF your lazy ass and do something about it!! NO ONE can change your situation BUT YOU.

 If you try and fail, TRY AGAIN, the biggest LOSER is the one that doesn't try at all. Now say it with me: I CAN DO ANYTHING THAT I PUT MY MIND, HEART AND SOUL INTO.No more taking the easy road.So if you are one of those people, that like me, was feeling uninspired and frustrated.Then CHANGE your attitude TODAY!

Let us do it together. 

Post what's frustrating you. What's keeping you from taking the NEXT step. I'm no expert in all life matters, but I'll  give myself a chance and let this be the year where i face my fears and overcome them. Let's get out of our comfort zone and try new things... What have we got to lose? At least, there WILL BE CHANGE.
